Of course! LOL Seems the gears were binding for some reason. The gears had alot of lube on them and I didn't take it all off to inspect the gears. Again, THANKS!!
looks like I have a project on my hands for this weekend...
2fast,
Info you, there are only 2 bolts that hold the actuator on, not 3. It looks like 3 when you look at the actuator but the hole on top by the plug is only a guide pin not a bolt.
Might as well bite the bullet and replace them both and be done with it. You might get lucky and reset them but if it has a cracked gear, you will be resetting them every day and it still won't work right. Buy a couple of these and replace them both. These are the same as the ones most places sell only a LOT cheaper. I've had them in my 99 for 3 years. These only fit the duel zone system, manual system uses a different actuator. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Heat-Heater-...516?rmvSB=true
You got a better deal than I did. I paid $40.
Jonathan, U1160 ... no comm to ldcm.
NOT, when I fixed mine I bought one at O'Reillys, cost me 80 bucks. then I started looking for cheaper ones. They're getting cheaper all the time because they are selling a lot of them. They also fit many GM cars and trucks.
U1160 is no comm with left door control module. Don't know what that has to do with the ac, maybe the memory function. Like I said, don't know. Good luck.

no worries i figure it out thanks now A6- scm no comm.
ALL of the modules, operate on a SERIAL DATA communications line. If one of the modules or somewhere in the serial data circuit gets corrupted, ALL of the modules can report NO COMMS.
What you have to do is figure out what module is causing the issue. GM made that pretty easy. They put STAR CONNCTORS in the circuit that allows you to isolate some of the modules......
There are TWO STAR connectors. Look to the LEFT of the BCM and you will see two thin connectors. The one with FOUR wires allows you to isolate the LDCM, RDCM and SCM. POP the top shorting buss bar off the top of the connector and see if you regain COMMS on all of the other modules.
Isolate the three modules and report back the results.
