It does click off time when I'm in the car, but it will reset itself frequently. I'm not sure if it resets to 12:00 or just doesn't keep time when the car is off.
I am not very concerned about battery issues/bad connections, and have checked them. I did have a wire touch the headers about the same time this started, but fixed the issues and affected fuses. Common sense says it was due to this somehow.
My question is what was damaged/how do I fix and diagnose this?
My avg MPG would reset itself for a few weeks, then my radio started to lose it's time. It had been cranking slowly for several weeks. HAd the battery tested and it was bad. Since replacing it all the above symptoms are gone.
