So I would assume you have to change the limiter manually if you wanted too. I have added a Corsa exhaust and twin flow intake. I do not want to change it actually, I want to leave it at stock setting as a safety check. Or does the computer re-program on its own?

The Rev limiter is set from the factory and will not change on its own. If you want to change it you can have tuner can change it whne you have the car tuned. Many people, including myself, have it changed when they do a H/C package because we put in stronger parts that can handle the extra revs. Mine is set to 6700 right now, but my shift light is set to 6400.

I just find it amusing that with the automatic tranny (in Drive) the car comes up with a shift light.
"Hey, Isn't that YOUR job?!?!"

when you start the car up all the lights on the HUD will illuminate, and you can see SHIFT there.

Yeah, I thought that was entertaining too. I had it floored, and that shift indicator comes on, and I'm thinking, "well, go ahead, shift then". The joys of modern technology.

Default how do you over ride the engine rev limiter!!!!

Does anyone really know how to do this???
Hey I drive my vette not baby it!!!!!
Let me be the one to know when the valves will start to float not
GM!!!!!!!.
THIS MY 8TH VETTE and this is an all time first for me!!!!
Hey its my ZO6 and if I want to push it to the limit then so be it

To the guy with 3500 miles you should of bought a slush O matic
with a no go engine or better yet put it up on blocks AND NEVER
DRIVE IT. Hey buddy are you for real!!!!! Oh yeah even my wife said what is the sense of having it!!!!!! She said you should walk or start taking the bus. I can tell for sure you know nothing about what you
have.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Be careful you just might hurt yourself ha ha
It really amazes me how disillusioned some people really are.

Now I will try again does anyone of you ZO6 C-5 VETTE owners
really know how to ELIMINATE the REV LIMITER or engine cut off???
I have heard about using the Predator or piggy backing the factory
computer. I would greatly appreciate it if you could share it with me.

Thank You
