Well my experience with gmpd was great except the wait, I confirmed my part # by email which took awhile but I saved $125. vs local dealers on a multi-function switch (turnsignal)

Hi All,
I believe we can do better than GMPD and I always strive to improve. You can order from us online at any time from www.fredbeansgmparts.com

Thanks,
Gene.

Thanks,

I've checked GMparts direct prices several times and their TOTAL cost (part plus S/H costs ) have always been good. BUT I've always spent a little bit more to deal with Gene - service and response are worth money too, even though they might not show up on the invoice. Gene has ALWAYS met or exceeded my expectations.

I did a side by side comparison (total price) between GMPD and Fred Beans. Fred Beans was about 10% less so I ordered from them. Gene sent me an email a few minutes later saying he would take care of me. I feel like I'm dealing with a live person who can make decisions if something came up .

Gene and Jeremy give you very good prices and customer service, good guys to buy from. They'll let you know when it's shipping out so you're not hanging in the dark.

And if you want floormats, check with EG.

I've ordered off of GMPartsDirect on more than one occasion. My biggest (and really only) complaint is the length of time it takes for them to get stuff to you. The prices aren't real bad, but the local forum vendors (Fitchner and F. Beans) are the best bet. Everytime I have ordered something from Fitchner it has been shipped out VERY quickly with no delay.

Thanks Gene! You've always been around for us! Just ordered a multi-switch for my 98 from you guys.

So it can show up in the search feature, I know alot of people ask for the multi-switch or multi-function switch or headlamp switch part number: 26075870

Thanks again!

I always use Gene Culley at Fred Beans, his prices and service are the best He is a supporting Forum Vendor. No blown out shipping charges.
I ordered Tire sensors on Friday after Thanksgiving ( black Friday ) and I had them Tuesday Morning. I, like many others here on the forum have been using his services for years. All you need to do is have the Vin# of your car when you call or email him, he takes care of the rest. He can also get parts for almost any car. Foreign or domestic. He is always available via phone.

Gene and Jeremy at Fred Beans are AWESOME. I had a problem with a fuel sender and they had to order 3 for me before we got one unbroken. They went way out of their way to help me out even offering to ship next day for Free! Luckly I live 1/2 hour from them in Phila.

Fred Beans is the best in my book. Ordered a new front Hub. Saved 20 bucks over GMpartsdirect. And Put order in Monday morning. Sitting on my door step in southern California Thursday. A+ in my book.

Fichtner Chevrolet is the best in my book.

They are cheaper than GMPartsDirect, without the outrageous shipping costs, Ken Fichnter is a supporting vendor, and has dedicated a lot of time to this forum since its inception.

Bob Wendorff (parts manager) is very knowledgable and a really decent guy to deal with (as is Tom).

I would recommend Fichnter without hesitation.
