DH sounds like its time for different wheels. Street wheels for DD and track wheels for the track, Drag wheels for teh Strip. DIffernt tires give differnt grip qualities. One set of wheels will not handle everything.
Street tires have lost all 'real' performance grip with in a few months of us. No matter what the tread depth is. The rubber can no longer hook up. Track or racing tires are much softer rubber compounds and give unbelievle grip. The challange is softer tires are measured in heat cycles not miles. a heat cycles is each time the tire is at oporating temps and pressures, why do you think the NASACR teams change tires so much?
