Car stuck in reverse, now fixed. Carnage report
Hey,
Today I was leaving a parking lot and I put it in reverse and it got STUCK IN GEAR! I popped it out but the car is still in reverse!
Has this happened to anyone?
Car is in parking lot waiting for a tow truck.

FIXED.
Car was fixed and here is the carnage report. Broken REVERSE gear (all of reverse gear was grinded down), and reverse synchro and broken tranny interlock was broken?
How can something like this happen?

When GMPP rebuilt my trans one of the gears they needed to replace was reverse and same for another buddy of mine. The reverse gear in the MN6 is weak maybe?

BTW reverse, and 6th gear can be service while the trans is on the vehicle, you still have to drop the driveline and the rear though.

Around 1200.
I do think I got reverse a couple of times when going into 5th hard.
I did grind it.
