Default How do I fix this

I was driveing around and I missed a shift and it redlined the goodie out of it
needless to say I lost the race but now my car will not go over 5500 rpms
What do I do

Did you miss a down shift or up-shift and end up in neutral? I hope it was up!

Dude, If you redlined in neutral trying to get to 2nd I'll bet you mashed a few pushrods!

I'll bet anything that is what you did. I have seen others that had their Dyno's crap out around 5500 only to find out it was bent pushrods. They are very soft. They give out before the valvetrain does. :(
