Default Heads...pushrods Question

I was hoping someone here would be able to help me out...

I have a COMP CAM: 232/236, 575/578, 113+2 LSA and I am looking at buying these heads:

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...977&forum_id=1

Livernois Motorsports CNC Ported LS2/LS6 Cylinder Heads
-New GM LS2/LS6 243 casting
-5 axis CNC machined
-Fully Assembled
-New valves
-New valve springs good to ~ .580 lift
-Flow over 300 cfm on std 3.900 bore
-No core required
-The valves are stock LS6 valves which are 2.000" Intake and 1.550" Exhaust.
(I am upgrading the springs to a set of COMP 918s)

I was wondering if there was a formula that would tell me what pushrods would be the best for my applications? I am looking at some of these:

Thanks in advance,

Micah

as long as the 243 heads aren't milled and ls6 valves are used the 7.4's should be standard deal, the stock z06 pushrods were a different length for the different base circle stock ls6 cam(which are often used w/ aftermarket cams)
i used the TR 7.4's on a recent camaro project, i believe they are comp p/r's w/ their name on them

Yeah, I sort of did that yesterday and they told me that I needed to first install the cam I have and then do the length check, I think I will probably just go with the stock length since they are not milled, but I am calling to confirm that they are in fact not milled tomorrow! With the better flow rate over stock LS1 heads, I expect a nice little gain with the cam I have.

I would take their advice and get an adjustable pushrod. That is one place you don't want to screw up. I am setting up my order right now for the same thing, adjustable pushrod, lifters and studs, except I got the Dart 205's.

This statement is incorrect. I believe you meant to say LS6 valve stems are longer to make up for the smaller base circle. All LSx motors use the same 7.40" push rod.
