Input Please!
Went by my local stealership for a $77 oil change & was accosted by their service rep for additional maintenance service on my coupe that has just turned 30K. He showed me a package where they basically : 1)service my automatic transmission ( power flush & fill),2) Change my fuel filter & PCV valve, 3) Clean my fuel injection. Price- $500
My question............. do I really need any of this at 30K? Manual says 100K on tranny. $500 seems outrageous!

The power flush at my dealership is $175
You can change the PCV for 4 bucks and 10 seconds of time.
What year is the car, some fuel filters are in the tanks. If not you can do it yourself again.
What process are they going to clean the injectors?
You can run 2 bottles of Techron through the system and clean the whole fuel system, for 10 bucks.
