My Hypertech has 3.42 gears as an option. Picked 3.42 and it corrected my shift points. It also fixed the torque converter slippage and codes. :confused:

I had a situation similar to yours. I was re-tuning my 99 back to stock prior to taking into the dealer to have the column lock recall done. Somethiing went wrong and I received the message to call HyperTech. The car would not start and I was receiving the same messages you described. I disconnected the battery for about one hour. Reconnected, and the car started. I plugged in the HPPIII and it said that the programming was interrupted. After about a minute, the unit said continuing re-programming. It finished and stated that the stock tuning was complete. I took the car into the dealer and had the column lock recall work done. After arriving home I re-programmed with the HPPIII to my custom settings. I was really afraid that I would have to have the car towed for a while but I was fortunate to have it all fall back into place. I do like the changes I have made with the HPPIII and hope I can continue to use this product. Do you spell tuning with two n's or three?
