Watch out powlison. It starts out fixing a loose battery cable, but you'll end up swapping heads, cam, exhaust, etc. And don't even mention all the appearance mods!
Well, this is kind of embarrassing but as it turns out, one of the terminal cables was loose. Once I fixed that it was fine, started right up. I feel like an idiot now but wanted to thank you all for your help.
Bill, I did not see your post until this morning but I really do appreciate the offer. If you don't mind, I might add you to my buddy list that way I can bug you if I ever need assistance again. Thanks for being so willing to help.
dude- not a problem.nothing to be embarrased about.glad to help!
Look at your DIC battery volts with the ignition on (and engine/heater blower/radio off). 11.4 volts is completely discharged and 12.9 volts is completely charged. Try charging battery if on low side. If charging battery does NOT fix, do a load test on battery.
12 volts battery 6 cells 2.2 volt per cell
6 times 2.2 13.2 is what you should have at full charge
