Stupid question, but what about interior cabin noise at cruise with new headers?
I have a Z06 cam and corsa x-pipe and pro-tips, have not bought headers or high flow cats yet. Worried a little that car will be so loud just cruising down the road I would regret the change.
I have LPE LT's through stock cats and Z06 ti catback. At cruise it is very sedate, but sounds good when you get on it. The stock cats do alot to tone down the noise.
My buddy has the Kooks with high flow cats and Corsa touring catback.
It's louder than I like in the cabin at cruise, but he loves it.
I guess I would describe mine as a more refined sports car kind of sound, and his, as an in your face, kick butt, race car kind of sound.
Just a matter of preference.
You really should ride in a couple different setups before you decide what your tolerance level is.
