Anybody using these spark plug wires? I have been searching for 3 mo for new plugs and wires. I have decide to go with iridium plugs for long life and maybe the GM performance wires or Taylor wires. But I came across these and the make a big HP claim. Don’t believe the gain but maybe the wires are some of the best?
Our stock wires are so short, if they are not broken, it will not make any difference
IMHO
I put on some taylor wires because I broke mine changing plugs and I doubt I gained anything. The only way I could see you gaining hp is if you were losing hp due to misfires. Go with GM wires if you can. Can't beat oem quality
No way in HE!! is anyone going to get 10 HP from spark plug wires unless you started with using only 7 wires before. From what I have heard about Granatelli throttle bodys, wouldn't buy any of their products. JMO

You got that right.!! Unless your wires were in really poor condition and your engine was miss firing. NO HP gains!!! The GM Performance wires are very good quality and are about as good as your going to get!

after extensive testing NASA has determined that plug wires add just as much HP as the hood seal.If his wires work as good as his MAF, how can you go wrong ??

The MAF is another joke, it is just a descreened stock sensor with a sticker.
But suckers buy these things and thing their car is faster. In the real world on the track, you'll get better times with pratice than you will spending thousands on joke mods like discussed above, IMHO.
I would look at how durable the wire is constructed. I swapped from the factory wires to the Taylor 10.5mm wires and over the last tow years I've broken 4 of them getting them off. They are not well connected at the spark plug terminal boot. I searched around and actually put my hands on a couple different types and ended up buy the MSDs due to their contruction. I use the GM Iridium plugs. And as the others mention, You'll gain little if anything over the stock configuration.
I know some of you guys are going to say "Well I'm not worried about breakin' them", but neither was I until I removed my headers for a clutch install, or torque tube rebuild, or differential replacement, or motor swap, or another clutch swap. Point is IF you do your own work, you'll want a plug wire that is constructed better than the Taylor wire is. Just my experience!
