No sweat! Just remember, If you use a spring loaded rocker switch, as I have in the past, let Chevy or whoever know about it or they will waiste mega time trying to figure out why your car will not start
If you want a kill switch, think about this... Someone breaks into your car... they try to start it... no good... They know there is a kill switch somewhere...they figure the odds of finding it are small so they invest a few minutes trying to look in all of the obvious places with in arms reach... Now they are pissed and do several thousand dollars damage to your car... These cars are pretty safe from theft... a flat bed or tow truck will by pass a kill switch...
If you are hell bent on a kill switch , there is only one type to use... its called a slow blow kill switch.... it allows the thief to start the car, and drive it for 2 minutes... enough to get it out on the road, now the thief has lost his safety element. The car is now stalled in the road... he is not going to wait around to see if he can fix it.. Abandons the car quickly.
The factory anti-theft system is quite good, will stop almost all joy riders, in Houston many cars are stolen on flat bed wreckers.Keep it garaged or in my case in a lighted area with closed circuit Tv.

Point well taken. I guess this slow blow fuse would have to be in a wire such as ignition or something that controls ignition? Where would I find such a fuse RADIOSHACK?
Not that it is a bad idea,....but as mentioned above: Most that are stolen leave on roll-back trucks or tailers.
A buddy of mine had a champ white integra type r stolen that way out of his own driveway. No one asks questions when they see a tow truck. It was sad. 1 of 350 in the us and it was baught new in 97 and passed down to his son. Not a vette but a rare factory race car non the less
