Re-adjusted the ducts las night with the spacers provided and the fit is better. I am still not happy with the way the system is fitting because the fog light surrounds are blocking the very top of the fog lights. Not sure how to adjust this issue.
Notice in the below pictures:
The gasket has an impression of the filter due to being previously installed incorrectly. The filter did not previously fit centered in the "filter house". There is approximately 1/8 inch gap between the filter rubber and the filter house lip. However, the gasket is the seal between the filter and house so alignment is important. The filter can slide or move when in the house when mating the ducts to the house so be careful with the alignment.
"Kind of like putting too much ham between the toast and when you take a bite, the sandwitch meat shifts out of the bread! I must be getting hungry, Ha"
In relation to the second pic it shows a gray foam on the inside of the housing. Did this come with the vararam or is that something you added to help with sealing the green filter?
In the top pic; it looks like the filter would seal nicely w/o any additional material.
thanks for the info.
The gray foam came on the duct sides (also with two pieces of gray foam to cover the four bolts connecting the two ducts.
The filter housing also came with the gray foam. I think the foam is used to keep the filter from shifting when the rubber ears are secured across the filter.
I am thinking about getting the Z06 screens to hide the fog light surround miss alignments.
