Aluminum Alternators?
I've seen mention of aluminum alternators in several older posts on the forum. Who makes these or where can I find one? If anyone has any information on this part, please let me know

Your C5 needs to have the correct alternator (part#) installed. If you use the wrong part# alternator, it could cause the dreaded "CHARGING SYSTEM FAULT" dic message to come up.
If you want the correct scoop on C5 alternators, contact EVIL TWIN. He is the resident c5 alternator GOD!!!
Why do you think you need a lighter alternator. Loose a little body fat and call it a day.
