Got my Dynatech Supermaxx LT's installed last night (finished). 2001 Coupe - Car hasn't been run for probably a month or so, and the back end has been up on jackstands slightly higher than the front end.
When I started it up, The Drivers side lifters seemed to "tick" or rattle for the first 2 - 3 minutes - First I thought it was a terrible exhaust leak, but finally figured it must have been lifter rattle since it went away -
Anyone know why this would have happened? The car has sat for longer periods of time w/ no lifter rattle on start up, and it has less than 4 miles on the oil change - so I thought it was strange.

Just curious as to cause.
I wonder if the lifters lost oil and had to pump some back in to quiet down? Just a guess!
Trust me, we’ve all experienced this at one time or another. Seems like every other oil change it happens, where a lifter bleeds down, gets a pocket of air and won't fill back up with oil right away. Sometimes you have to rev it a bit to fill the lifter again.

Glad to hear that my "revving" to hear the headers didn't durt the lifter, but might have actually helped solve the problem. THANKS!!!
