Default Timing chain and pulley

Where is the best place to buy a "plain old" timing chain and underdrive pulley for a C5?
I have found a few timing chain sets with "9 keyway adjustments" when all I'm looking for is just a "non adjustable" timing chain. My cam has 4 degrees ground in, and I'm not interested in advancing are retarding it.
I am also looking for a 10% underdrive pulley. My car spends most of the time below 3000 RPM, so I'm not looking for the most expensive ones rated for 7000 RPM. If your "source" is not a CF vendor, just PM me.
Thanks guys

Ok as far as timming chain set I myself will stay with the GM product. Now as my opinion about uderdrive ASI is the one that I went with and I believe that most will also go that way. Now this only my opinion.

Default chain and pulley

I would talk with Andy at A&A. His e-mail is availible at the right of the forum as a vendor. I am in the process of having him install a H/C pkg. and we have had discussions about the chain and underdrive pulleys. There are more than a few options as it turns out.

Thaks guys, good info. Who sells the ASI and ASP pulleys? The only place I have seen any pulleys is JEGS. They have one for $224 that is good to 12,500 RPM!!! (What the heck!!) With the jury still out on whether or not they really free up any hp, I would be better off going with a stock new one for 1/4th that price
Wasn't aware that the LS2 chain would interchange, might be a good solution.
I will also send Andy a quick e-mail to get his input
Thanks again

If you are only looking for a 10% under drive the only company that I am aware of that makes this percentage is ATI. The ASP are 25% on the accessories and 10% on the AC. I also recomend the LS2 timing chain.

LS2 timing chain is more stout than the LS1. Also, if you order a timing chain for your car you will get the LS2 chain anyhow since it is now the stock replacement.

If you plan to pin the pulley, then selection becomes dependent on the pinning kit you plan to use. An end pin can be used on anything, but alignment the second time can be an issue. The pin that goes through the crank snout and installs like a key requires a pulley with a keyway cut into the hub.

I am planning on getting the LS2 chain;

Even if the balancer I get has a keyway, I would think you could just locate the end pin in another location and not use the keyway.
For the price I've been seeing for pulley, I may just have to go back stock!!!

I'm pretty sure all replacement timing chains for the LS1 engines are now crossed over to the LS2 chain.
