Default my sister
has to change the battery in the vette , she is not mechanically mined but wants to do it . after the new battery is in will anything else need to be done such as resetting anything. i have no experience with c5's so i cant help her

I've had my battery out a few times......put it back in, no problems. Shouldn't have to reset anything.

You may need to resync your key FOBs. Just press lock and unlock at the same time until the horn toots. Then your all set. It may reset your fuel mileage too.
