Can't comment on the comparison.
I don't know anyone that has not lifted the Vette to install the B2..... unless possibly someone who has a pit in their garage...

I just put mine up on some rhyno ramps when I installed my Vararam.

It's a great intake, you'll be happy with the performance results.

Cant compare, but I have the vortex and long as you don't drive through a foot of water its great. Nice thing is BPP has and will be around should you ever need service etc...

The search function will provide you with MORE info than you would care to read..... Short answer: They both will give you more HP than the stock system, but both can cause major problems if driven in heavy rain or deep standing water. The Vortex is easier to install and has a proven filter design. I have used one since 2000 and love it.

I can speak about both as I have used them both. First off RAIN DOES NOT DO ANYTHING TO THESE SYSTEMS. Next driving through deep water ie, submerging the front end is a problem. Now both systems are very good and I can recommend either one. Personally I am now running the Vararam as I feel it works better for my application than the Vortex does. You will need to lift the car some for the Vararam install.

I have the Vararam, but next time, Id do something like the blackwing. Just less to worry about, and for me, the little less performance would not be a factor.

I have heard of guys removing The Vortex to install The Vararam. But I have never heard of anyone removing the Vararam to install The Vortex.
