Never used that particular product. However, several years ago, a friend of ours who runs NHRA stock eliminator used Mr. Moly (and ultimately was sponsored by them). He swore by it.

Haven't seen MolySlip in years. Molybdenum disulphide was the main ingredient. It didn't help lubrication by sitting on the surface of the metal, it actually penetrated the metal. We used to pour MolySlip on a new cam and lifters(flat) to prevent initial scuffing/wear.
Some people used it in rear ends and standard transmissions too.
