Hey man....That's actually pretty fair....I like to get $600 or so for the job pluss materials....but, headers....(any brand for that matter..) complicate the job to the point that you basically have to re-do half the header job to get the clutch out....Kooks are not the preferred header in my shop...Who wants to take the master cyl off to get the driver header in?!?!?!
Also, don't forget to drill the clutch apply hose restrictor. Additionally, when there is time I like to add my own special remote bleeder hose...That takes some time...Lord knows nobody has hands small enough to reach up there to bleed the clutch once the headers are in....What a ****-poor design....It's even a bitch without headers!!!!
Crap....After all that, I think i wanna up my prices even more!~
Dealer I checked with said his GM labor allocation table says 10 hours for the install. He was charging $77 an hour. Never told him I had headers but decided to that this on myself once the weather breaks.
You can not replace the clutch without removing the torque tube, unless you remove the engine A local Corvette shop, here in MD, gets $600 to swap the clutch. After doing my own, I think that $600 is a good deal
