Air Sensors Question

I have some input for your issue. If those sensors are original, and would would bet they are.... You car is a 1998, if you look at those sensors you will see a date stamp on them...
More than likely they were built in 1997, which makes them 9 years old
they are at the end of their life... very few 1st generation sensors make it to ten years.. they usually last 6 to eight years. TH second generation design will last ten years because they only cycle once an hour... Your first generation sensors are on all the time once the car moves about fifty feet.. You can not interchange 1st and 2nd generation sensors.
The point I am making is you original sensors are at the end of their life... they could go Any any time.. they will never last another year. So with that in mind, rational thinking would be to get New sensors now and put them in once.
You will have to replace the originals shortly, you do not want to tie the car up again and pay twice to have the sensors replaced...
The 1st generation sensors are expensive.. over 110 each at the dealer
The best price on the INTERNET for these sensors is from Gene Culley at Fred Beans, a supporting forum vendor.. I believe the price for all four delivered is around 350 dollars.
all he needs is the Vin #
