Check the Tech-Tips section, good luck, about 2 in 5 break them removing them. Short answer, put a screwdriver in the slot and use the shaft of the visor to turn the bezel. I destroyed mine!. Jeff
Got the transmitter on e-bay. It is from a 2005 ford tarus visor. Paid about $30 with shipping for the entire visor (driver's side only).
I was bidding on a volvo visor with the homelink and the price got up to $45 and climbing. Got out of that and found the ford at an auction that was about to end. I was the only bidder and got it for the initial bid price. The lesson I learned is to go for a visor from the more common and less expensive car to get a good price.
Do a search for "homelink" and a lot of auctions should come up.
Good luck and thanks for the advise on the electrical connection.
