Michelin Pilot Sport ZP(zero pressure). go to discount tire work a deal. got mine for 1400 with road hazard and road force balancing. Tire rack is a pain (no road hazzard) have to have them mounted. Discount matches tire rack price. Free flat fixing and road hazzard! Every set of tires I've ever bought I wound up using the road hazzard at on time or another.

These are great tires. Just passing on the observation.
WRONG, the reason there quiter is because the sidewalls are not as stiff. The pilotsport RF good for 50 miles, Goodyear RF good for 200. Good year has a larger footprint but not by much maybe 1". The rubber composition in the goodyears is actually softer.

50 mile ZP vs. 200 mile EMT....

Since I don't live in Montana, I think I could find a service center within 50 miles of getting a flat.... Besides, if you drive 200 miles on the EMT, GY says there is no possibility of repairing the tire. For the ZP, you get to drive 50 and if they can't fix it (within 2 yrs or 50% wear), they'll replace it. How can you beat that???

~From their website~

With Michelin Zero Pressure™ tires, Michelin not only enables you to drive to get service after air loss — we also let you drive away satisfied after getting that service, thanks to our exclusive "ZP Assurance Plan." If your tire becomes unserviceable during the first two years of service or before 50% of the tread is worn whichever comes first, Michelin will replace the tire FREE OF CHARGE. You'll find full details and conditions of the "ZP Assurance Plan" in your Michelin Zero Pressure™ tire owner's manual and limited warranty.
