power window problem on c5 any suggestions

Welcome to the Forum and it's always best to start a NEW thread...that way one doesn't have to scroll down pages of an old post...what year is the car ??...you should fill out your profile (not in the thread) with model year, mods, tune and your location...there are differences in wiring and components and their locations. Instead of firing parts at it if you're good with electrical troubleshooting try that first...you need to check for power to the switch and to the regulator...and yes, the driver door module "black box" controls the drivers window.

I just got this car on 10 Jan or so. Passenger window wouldn't go down. I read a remedy on this site. It said to hit the door just below the hand hold hard. I did, and it worked. There ya go!! Hope this works for you.
