Noises
I bought my Z06 with 8k miles on it. It already had LT headers, offroad pipes, and a borla exhaust installed. It also has some sort of aftermarket clutch.
I started getting an exhaust leak, no suprise with the headers. That isn't my problem...I get what seems to be a metallic ringing noise while accelerating over 2k rpm. Sounds almost like a bolt rattling around. I can't figure it out. It gets more high pitched the more I rev it out. Any ideas?

I had a metal type ratteling coming from under the car, only at certain RPM's, and it turned out to be my rear 02 sensors. A little sleeve , that I believe may have been welded, had broken loose and was jiggleing around giving me the rattle. I don't think it was going to affect the sensors at all, but I had them changed anyway.

And I am getting O2 sensor codes. I'm hoping both problems are from a loose sensor.
