Since people are questioning the install of 1 7/8" vs 1 3/4" maybe a little explanation is due here. As I understand from reading other posts on a non head/cam engine you loose torque with the bigger diameter header. So you would need to decide if you intend, or already have done cam/heads unless ease of installation is the primary factor and not ET's. Also a consideration is how close the tubes are to the starter because if they are almost touching they will cook a starter unless you use some kind of heat shield.
In my own personal American Racing 1 3/4" header install, the driver's side went in from the bottom VERY easily.
The passenger side took me about 2 hours to get in from the bottom. The problem is that it hits the hard AC line. I finally had to motivate it with a mallet. It was an exercise in complete frustration.
With that said, it is good product and I love new power/sound.
Your AR header installations may be easier, but this was my own personal experience.
