For budget reasons I went with the Firestone Wide Ovals for my 02' Z06. Just completed my 1st AutoX on them (grip was better than I expected). I've put about 500 hwy miles on them. So far I'm happy. Installed, the set cost about $750 at a local Firestone store.

You can actually fit the z06 sizes on the "coupe" size as you call it.
I went with 295 rear and 275 front how ever. This corrects a lot of over steer issues.
