Battery cable replacement for 98' coupe
Dealer has my car for warranty service and he says that positive cable needs to be replaced because of corrosion, its not warrantied by my coverage. Although he says the leaking transmission seal is covered, with 100.00 deductible. Will a 01' battery cable fit ? I found one on ebay,Dealer wants 250.00 just for cable!!!!!

Sorry for the confusion, I am asking about replacing the cable on my 98' coupe. 
Is this difficult to do? Im considering this as my first attempt at C5 repair!!! Anybody done this job?
