Default AC Drain

Anyone have a picture of the drain hose coming out of the firewall from the AC? I remember seeing someone who did a nice writeup with several pictures, but now I can't find it.

I looked today and didn't see it, but I did see this odd black plate. Is this normal?? It almost looks like THIS is where the elbow should be coming from...

The "udder" is about another 2 inches over (inboard) from the part you're showing in the pic. You can just barely see it, and it's in the curved section of the firewall.

I have relatively small hands, and it's still a b!tch to reach it. (Pulling it out is easy....plugging it back in, well.......%$#@$%#!!

I have a bunch of pictures of that drain tube. i'm at work and cant post them from here. I will post them tonight. The best way to get to the drain is from under the car (If you dont have headers!!) . If you have headers, you have to access it from the trop and ut really is a bitch! It is really tight!!

If your having condensation drain back problems, for now just remove the tube. Then you can drive the car and not have to worry about a wet interior.
