Default Need some realistic numbers...

Debating on the upgrade path of the vert...

I want 500 rwhp. Been a long time dream....anyway.....

How hard would it be to get a head/cam package to 500 hp. Can it be done safely without sacrificing the drivability....she's my daily driver...

I have been going back and forth on the n/a or supercharger topic, so I thought I'd see what yall would recomend....

Oh, if I do the sc, i'd be A&A vortech kit....anyone with this kit....feel free to chime in.....

Scott.

You have a better shot if it is an M6 and not an A4. Even so to reach 500 RWHP & be naturally aspirated is a stretch. Also considering that your car is a DD the cam size would have to be real big to get near the magical 500 number. Drivability & Reliability would have to be sacrificed. A more realistic figure would be bet, 450-460 RWHP and still be livable day to day, IMHO.

It's an m6. hmm.....ok, so if I were to go the supercharger route....then the drivability would be unaffected....unless I dig into the boost??.....

I see some people change out cam after the SC. What would having both buy me??

To get a head and cam package to 500 rwhp will take an aggressive package with a pretty large cam and cost more money then the supercharger. I would bolt on an A&A Vortech kit and be done.
