I've been a user for over 3 years in every tankful!!!
I'd much rather carry around a quart of Torco, that does the same as almost 5 gallons of Xylene. I'm still honoring Dirty Howies 5 gallon jug special. $160.00 delivered for 5 gallons of Torco Race fuel concentrate.
That comes out to 8 bucks a Quart.

That's a sweet deal...and I'm looking to buy some for this weekend :hint:
You're right! JB sent me some last month or so for a Supra club canyon drive...let me just say; I'm hooked on the juice! My butt dyno felt about 20 hp increase on full advance.

I got your order, and gave you the second to last 5 gallon jug at DH's price!! It will drop ship in the AM, but don't expect it till early next week...
Thank you very much,
JB
Has anyone an opinion about the use of Torco, an octane booster, with Acetone [ 2.5 Ox per 10 gallons of gas] The Acetone acts as a surfactant and allows the gas to more easily atomise into vapor. It's not an ocatane improver of any note that I am aware of, but it does make the Vette run smoother at idle, maybe a tiny bit more powerful [ need to do a Dyno run without and then with] and we get a few MPG more Honest, we do.. about 2 to 3 on hiway cruze. I usually burn premium, but it sounds like keeping a can of Torco asdditive around for the occasional dose of regular would be good planning.
I can't believe this, i have like many half used gallons of this stuff in my warehouse, and I don't know where to throw it away! i work in construction, I use that sticky 3M red construction tape to protect aluminum windows, doors..etc.. just about everywhere, when I remove the tape, the sticky glue part remains on the object...the easiest way to remove it is with Xyelene...i also remove fresh caulking with Xyelene.
holly cow.. I can even expense this stuff on the company!!
ok, so time to make some Xylene cocktails...
this just made my day...
as for running 87 octane... that will for sure make you loose a few ponies. I think it was on the show "sports car garage" they did a before and after dyno of a porsche 911 (non turbo). when they ran it with 87 octane, it lost 8hp or something like that.
