Problem Getting old Headers off !
Hey guys I am installing my new headers today and have every bolt out of the stock manifold so its ready to come out but I can't seem to be able to pull it off the head. I have tried prying between the header tubes as to not touch the head and it won't dislodge.
Any opinions or Ideas?
thanks

You either missed a bolt or didn't disconnect the bottom collectors.

There bolted together at the bottom of the bell housing and will need to be un bolted there to get them to seperate.

Remove your H-pipe first, this is the center section of exhaust between the manifolds and the cat back. But put a bolt back in each manifold first or they will fall and hit you in the head when you remove your H-pipe!
If you by chance have the H-pipe off, then you have missed a bolt or two. Those factory manifolds are so heavy there is no way they will stick to the engine. Should be 6 bolts in each manifold.
