Security Light
Having a new issue with my 98 coupe. The security light comes on while driving and stays on. Has any one else ran into this problem if so please chime in and it will be greatly appreciated.

I had the same issue with my '98. I tried everything from cleaning the key/pellet to trying to clean inside the ignition cylinder. Turned out my ignition switch was worn out and wasn't reading the pellet on the key. It got so bad that the car would periodically refuse to start and would throw BCM codes. I bought a new ignition switch and it cured the problem.

Could be a dirty key or a bad ignition switch! In my case (98 Coupe) the chassis grounds were all corroded. They got so bad that the PCM would not allow the fuel pump to run!! Check your grounds. Especially G-101 and G-102. I recommend cleaning ALL of the grounds!!
