Fuel puddle

Finally after countless searching in this country I found the car of my dreams (04 C5 Lemans blue). I couldn't be more happier, stunning in every way. BUT...
Got home the other day to find a major fuel puddle on the garage floor, right under the filler at left side tank. I just filled it up over half a tank, so I thought I'd drive till under half and sure enough it stopped leaking.
Do I have to drop both tanks and maybe even transaxle to fix problem, or is it an easy fix?
