There are is a generic power ducts that retails in the $170 price range, and then there is the Vortex power duct for around $240. Anyone know if there is any difference to warrant paying the extra $70??

Honestly, not a flame...but I can't think of any performance to be gained from any power duct/air bridge.

Then there are the generic silicon couplers as an alternative starting at only $70. IHMO, I felt this was worth a few bucks to get rid of the accordian stock coupler. Just my .02. :p:

I just pulled my Vortex PowerDuct out of the box. Thanks Exit28! I'm not sure if you guys got an older model or what. I've even seen someone on here say you can almost see through the BPP duct if you hold it up to light.
NO WAY. The one I just got is NICE. Very smooth on the inside and no way will it crack with a little pressure. There is also NO way you could hope to see through it by holding it up to a light. The sides are very thick and sturdy. I was getting worried reading all this stuff. Very happy with it after seeing it.
