Service traction control and ABS codes entered in my life while I was doing some agressive driving. What should I look for ??? I disconnected the battery and it still comes up ??
A new BCM module and a new ebcm module; mine went on while idling in the driveway last week, luckily it was still under warranty for 1 more month. They replaced the body control module, electronic brake control module a solenoid and a valve, warranty bill was $3200+.

Ouch !! I don't like that reply. I need the cheap, do it yourself fix please. *****:
I had the same thing happen to me, but the code on the display went away within a minute or so. It would only happen when I had the traction control on, if it was off, it never comes on.
pull your computer codes and post them, could just be a wheel sensor,, or could be like the other post said, ECBM or the like and that is a big$$$ ticket item. I had the same thing, and mine was the ECBM, thank god i was still under OEM warranty
Also check your ground and connections to make sure they are not corroded.

Edit, they replaced the BPMV (brake pressure modulator valve) not the BCM. Part # 10343432 valve 4.730
EBCM (electronic brake control module)
Part # 10343433 module 4.720
and some fluid I'm guessing brake
Part # 12377967 3x's Fluid 8.800
C 1223 LR Wheel speed sensor input signal is 0 (History)
C 1227 LR Excessive wheel speed variation (History)
C 1255 EBTCM internal malfunction (History)
C 1291 Open brake lamp Sw contacts during deccel (History)
C 1234 LR Wheel speed circuit open or shorted (History/Current)
So what could this mean? The LR wheel speed circuit sensor bad or ???
My 2000 had been reporting these same errors (service Traction control, ABS) intermittently for several months. I inspected the ground connector and the terminals were very clean. The positive battery terminal was quite corroded, however. Although the battery load test was fine, I replaced this 6-year old battery with a new one and I'm no longer getting the traction control/ABS errors. Total cost for me was $90 for battery and several hours trying to separate the corroded battery terminal from the cable.
SAME situation for me. Battery was problem. Try this "$100 Fix" first. If your battery is over 4 years old it may the the culprit. Installed Optima Red Top last week...EBCM now happy (getting enough amps) NO more "Service ABS,Active Handling & Traction Control" messages in the DIC......
