Default I Really Like My Performance Mods

I've had my '01 coupe since new. Went to ECS to have performance mods done about 5-6 weeks ago now. For the first time since owning it, I am looking for any opportunities to just drive my car. For the past three weeks, I've taken her out for a spin every day around our back winding PA roads and throughout Valley Forge National Park. I'm thrilled about how much fun it is to just drive again. The car is tight, strong and sounds great! It feels like it should have from the factory, but if it did, I guess I wouldn't have appreciated my car's re-birth as much as I do today.

Nicely said. Your signature shows nice modest MODS that make you happy in a new found affection for your C5.
Check my signature and you'll see I have the same new found feelings for my old C5 coming up on 60K and came alive with my new MODS.

Amazing that you can take something so perfect and actually make it better

You're a funny guy! I should have also listed my "performance" hood seal. But, I really wanted to point out that even a moderately modded C5 can produce some really fun results.

your mods were the same I started with - well excluding the Z06 screens.

Car really came alive then and more so when you add H/C

Thanks Doug. You guys at ECS did a great job. I'm still breaking it in, and look forward to letting her loose in another 100+ miles. Once I get used to what the car is capable of, I'm sure I'll be back for another shot of fun inducing mods. Say hello and thanks again to Chris and your crew.

The only performance mods I see in the sig are 4:10 gears, a catback, and an air intake. The rest looked like road racing stuff ?

Air Intake, ZO6 stabilizer bars front & rear, Corsa Cat-Back exhaust, Headers with high flow cats and X-pipe, Hurst short throw shifter, RPS clutch & light weight fly-wheel, 4.10 rear end differential gears, hardened out-put shaft, DTE rear end/transmission brace, CAGS skip shift eliminator, Calloway spark plug wires. I include these as performance mods, as they add to performance. I'm not sure what you consider to be performance related?
