Default Plugs and Wires??

When should you change plugs and wires? I have 65,000 on my 99 Coupe and was going to a dyno this weekend. Should I change them now or are they good to go. Thanks for the information!

I have found on modern cars the plugs last a long time, and guilt usually plays a role in changing them. However, since you might have the original GM plugs that had issues with the platinum puck, it might be worth changing them anyhow.

Your plugs are toast, Wire are marginal still better than some aftermarkets. I have the Jacob's wires and tr-55's. Only way to fly!
I have 18,250 miles. Index those plugs too. For max-tune:

At 45k miles on my 98, I changed the plugs. Checked the gap on the old ones, 0.060! Too much. Car runs much better with new spark. Do it, takes about 30 minutes.

When the car starts running poorly. It's a total waste of money otherwise.
