Don't know about #1 wire but if you pull my finger it alleviates some of the pressure and sounds a lot like a Honda Civic with a coffee can exhaust tip at 4,500 rpm in 1st gear.

Also if you 'Pull" your #1 wire it could alleviate some pressure
