Default Question: Wheels, wheels...

May be picking up a '99 Verte. May want to replace the "wagon wheels". Can I replace them with C6 wheels or am I limited to C5 ('02 and up) wheels ? And - if I buy new wheels (C5 or C6), will the Low Tire Pressure sensors from the "wagon wheels" be usable in the newer wheels? Thanks.

you can get C6 style wheels in C5 sizes... C6 OEM wheels are 18 fronts 19 rears, as far as your sensors go, they are reaching the end of their life... they will not outlast new tires,,many people including my self have seen TPS failure with 99's and even 2000 are seeing failure...
I would suggest new sensor, the cheapest place to get them is from Gene Culley at Fred Beans, a forum vendor
330 dollars delivered

I wanted to buy a set of C6 oem wheels but was told by my dealership that the offset is different and would not fit my C5.

I ended up buying C6 reproduction wheels.
