Default Yes you can do it on jack stands

I put the front on Rino ramps turned to the front and jack stands under the rear puck points. The top of the fender wells are about 37" front and 41" in the rear. You might not need that much unless you want to get the left cat back out of the way, it takes about that much to remove it.

Just did mine in my garage a couple of weeks ago. Ramps in the front and stands on the sides. One floor jack and one motorcycle jack for the rear-end drop down. YOU CAN DO IT!

Also here--- http://www.cajundude.com/differential.htm

These instructions helped me alot!

Just curious, why are you going to a higher ratio?

Oops, my bad... just noticed your going from 2.73 to 3.42 - sorry miss-read as 3.73 to 3.42.

That makes sense. I like this ratio too. Not a tire burner, but you'll notice the performance increase especially in the low gears. Good street ratio.
