Sway bar question ?
i am looking to get T1 sway bars and my question is, will heavy duty Teflon lined Heim joint end link fit ....?? will they work with T1 sway bars ... or do i need a different end link ??
They fit. Just get the same size as stock, they're in standard sizes, and won't be hard to find. You'll also need a bolt with spacers to mount the links on.
It might just be easier to but a set of the links from 'Vette Brakes and products. They're $130, I think, for the set of 4.
this is what I used and they work really well.
The problem you will have is finding a T1 bar that will fit a C5. the new T1 bars that came out for the C5/C6 do not fit over any modified exhaust on the C5. There is no bend in the rear sway bars.
The older style T1 bars are NOT easily found.

Actually, I forgot to mention that I have them too. If you choose to go this route, make sure that the links are all the same length, at least on each axle. If they're not, strange handling characteristics can happen....Don't ask how I know.
