Default Lost temper, Wife mad!

Saturday, nice sunny corvette driving day. My wife and I set out for a little excursion. The windsheild wipers come on and stay on. So I lost my temper with the wiper control lever and broke it. I'm not feeling very smart right now. Has anybody replaced one of these before?

I'll tell you, I am 6'-3" 280lbs. That little lever didn't have a chance. It was a proud moment for about a 1/2 second.

You would think that GM could at least get the wiper motor down. Never have I had a wiper motor problem, or a control stalk that broke, or a leaky rear, or...

Forget about the wife being mad, think about the poor vette. It has to be hurting after getting its right arm broken!

Sorry to hear about your unfortunate incident with the wipers.

I to have learned the hard way that it is better to hold my breath and count to ten before doing something I'll regret.

As the years go by we get a little smarter from our past mistakes. Now I take my time and I don't let life frustrate me. Just remember if you break it, you're gone to have to fix it.

Also if you're looking for a wiper switch check out this # 8065623863 on ebay only $60 bucks, plus a few hours of your time.

OUCH,,,,,,,,,,,Man,,,,,,,,,thats going to leave a mark,,,,,,,,,in your wallet!!!!

Easy replacement! You will need to purchase a set of TORX bit screwdrivers. The screwdrivers are best because they can get into the narrow holes GM sets the screws into!!!

I bet you have been driving in the rain,, werent you????

The most probable reason that your wipers went crazy is your cowl drains are clogged and the wiper control board sits in the well where the water collects!

Clean out your udders!!! Check out this stickey!!!

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1246715

If that doesnt fix it,,,let me know!

Bummer!
I learned many years ago ( I'm 50) that I need to get away from the aggravation. Personally, I'd park it and get out.....walk away and cool off.
Many times I've crawled out and got away.............beats taking a hammer to it.
