Default Exhaust question

Cautiously optimistic.....

Will an exhaust system from a Z06 bolt right onto my stock '97?

I think I know the answer but it's worth asking.....

Yep, the Z06 Ti's are a direct bolt on to all C5s. I have them on my '03 vert.

Oops, sorry. I didn't read your original question carefully and assumed you like most here were speaking only of the Z06 Ti cat back mufflers. That is all that I have installed.

My understanding is that the Z06 H-pipe will bolt directly on to any C5 too. However, what I'm not certain about is the compatibility of the rear O2 sensors on your '97 versus the Z06 H-pipe. Also, if your asking about the Z06 exhaust manifolds and front 02 sensors, I don't know about these either. I'll have to defer here to someone that is more experienced/knowledgeable. Hopefully someone will be along shortly that can help you with this.

I'm very pleased with mine. They have a little deeper tone at idle and they sound much better at WOT than the stock coup/vert exhausts. Yet, at cruise speed they have no more resonance/drone than the stock coup/vert exhausts and this is exactly for what I was looking. However, this is not the exhaust for those that want a big rumble or loud.

Good luck with yours.
