I ported a stock LS2 recently for a customer with a stock LS7 in his new C6Z06. Anyway....back to back on the same day (versus another bonestock unit at the shop) he picked up exactly 6 RWHP....I was hoping for 5 and was quite pleased with the results considering the size of the actual TB remained the same (still 90 mm obviously). Throttle response and SOTP was also up nicely.
In a nutshell, properly reworking that TB is definately worth some power....it is very restrictive and definately needs a helping hand to really perform to its potential.
