Auto Transmission Mod
Check this out. The transmission expert at the local stealership was telling me that if you disconenct a particular wire on our cars the transmission will shift much harder, chirp gears, etc. Does anyone know what he's talking about, and if so what wire to disconnect? He had told me he put a toggle switch for this in a car already and I thought it sounded pretty cool.

That sure can be done....I believe its just a matter of a resistor but not certain.......... an option is something like a hypertech that you'll see in parts for sale from time to time..........it will adjust shift firmness, shift points etc........

B&M made a shift "kit" for the 4L60 that used a resistor and offered 3 modes of shift firmness-stock, firm and extra firm. I have one on my 4x4 Chev PU and love it. Just taps into the trans wiring from the computer. The same type thing might be available for the auto Vette. Chuck.
