Default clutch fluid question

How much DOT3 do I need if I do a complete drain and fill of the clutch fluid? I looked in the manual, but it only said to add as necessary.

Unless you have a remote bleed line you must remove the center section of the exhaust and the tunnel plate to bleed the clutch.

Most people take a turkey baster and periodically suck the fluid out of the reservior and replace.

I have the remote bleed line... I want to say it takes less than a quart to do the swap, but I'd get 2 just to be safe.

I have to put a clutch in this weekend in my 99 FRC - where did you get the remote bleed line? Also where do I tie it off to keep from rubbing?

I got mine from LAPD I believe... I have it fished up next to the brake booster and zip tied to the parking brake cable... looks factory.

Make sure you get some rubber fuel line or something similar to put over the braided stainless bleed line. I didn't nor did i know about it and the line chafed through my fuel line... car almost went up in flames.
