well, problem one was no movement from window at all, now, atleast, i have about 3 inches of movement before binding...back to trying to find the right path's for these wires now...i think theres 5 diff "slots" and only two are the right ones...wat was the purpose of the extra slots? so they only used one for all cars?

If I am picturing this right, not that I have taken apart a C5 window, but the cable starts on one end, and then it wraps around the wheel several times and exits out the other. The rreason for wrapping is so the cable doesn's slip on the plastic wheel. With the cable fully circulating the wheel several times it won't slip. Hope my insight is correct and you get it back together, worst case scenario, take the other side apart!! Good Luck!! Dan

ya, im gonna mess with it some more in the morning, i got too agravated and probably shoudlnt have tried comin home from a 13 hour midnight shift and work on it for another 10 hours, and then on the way home it started POURING with the window out (i went to my grandparents house to use some tools i didnt have at my house) but its in my garage now with the window out so im going to try to figure out what the deal is when i get up was very mad, usualy i dont have problems fixing things myself, my biggest problem is i dont know which wholes the wires are suppose to come out of the motor, sense theres 4 or 5

Why were you taking the cable off the pulley? If the cable was messed up, you probably should just replace the window regulator assembly.

If you were just replacing the motor, I have done it without removing the cover over the pulley so that the cables cannot come off.
